Enrolement
New customers are welcome to try a free taster class at the beginning or at any time during the term. If signing up mid-term, you will only pay for the remaining classes left in that term. Classes are bookable per half term.
 

If you miss a class
If you miss a class you are welcome to come along to another class on a different day or time. There are no refunds for a class missed .

If we cancel a class
If any class has to be cancelled for any reason a make up session will be added to the end of term. If an extra class is not possible for any reason then a credit for that missed class will be added to your next terms enrolment.

Photos/video
We will sometimes take photos or video of classes to be used for promotional purposes. You will be asked to sign a  waiver when you sign up to Banandrama, giving consent to use images of your child. We will not use any photos or video of your child if you have not signed the waiver.

Personal Information
When you give your details to Bananadrama we will add you to our mailing list to receive any information about changes to classes or upcoming events. We will never share your information with anyone outside Bananadrama.
We aim to start our classes on time. It can be difficult for a child to play catch up in a group of children who have already said hello and begun the first activity, so please aim to arrive at least 5 minutes before your class begins.

Food and Drink
Please do not let your child bring any food into the room. They are welcome to bring water in as it can get hot with all the activity.

Independence
Between 3-5 your child is growing in independence and can show less inhibitions without a parent or carer watching them, so at Bananadrama the children come into the space on their own. It is the parent/carers responsibility to wait in the foyer area whilst the class is in progress in case you are needed. Should your child need the toilet they will be brought to the door for you to take them.

Health and Safety
Drama is a physical activity and with excited children who’s special awareness is not yet fully developed accidents will happen, although these are rare. The teacher is first aid trained and will have a first aid kit. Should your child injure themselves during the class you will be notified immediately.

The Shyer child
We understand that some children are shyer than and might take longer to feel confident enough to come in on their own. We can put a chair for you to sit in the room, hopefully giving your child the reassurance needed, with the aim of encouraging independence as the term progresses.
